GAM
326:
Games with A Purpose Pre-Production
Students will explore a variety of Games With A Purpose (GWAP) - games designed with goals beyond entertainment - targeting areas such as health, education, social and personal transformation, civics, and activism. Students will gain a theoretical foundation for understanding games as expressive and persuasive media with the power to drive real-world change, including frameworks used to uniquely design and conduct assessment of GWAPs.
