Editing I
This course focuses on the role of the editor in cinematic storytelling. Students analyze and assemble dramatic scenes using a variety of techniques and strategies. Through practice and critique, students will learn how to use digital editing tools to structure a scene from raw materials to a fine cut. Projects will explore how aesthetics and visual rules guide an edit.
Major in BA in Animation, BFA in Animation, BA in Film & Television, BFA in Film & Television, BS in Information Technology Media Engineering concentration, or minor in Visual Effects.is a prerequisite for this class.
