Hello, my name is Sydney Bell, and I am a graduate student in the Software Engineering program. Originally from Belleville, Illinois, I have lived in three different countries. For my university studies, I have a non-technology background. From the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign I have a degree in Spanish/Chemistry(minor); and from the University of Barcelona a Master of Global Health. In my free time I enjoy solo backpacking, Brazilian Samba dancing, crocheting, reading, playing my instruments (flute and saxophone).
Given my ‘non-traditional’ route into the technology space, I am excited to continue learning. Studying at DePaul University has given me an opportunity to further my education.
