338:
3D Organic Modeling
In this course students will learn to create highly detailed creatures, characters, and props for both film and games. Students will learn a variety of techniques for working with high density polygon meshes and 3D painting in order to generate detailed texture and normal maps. This course will combine a traditional approach to sculpting and a foundation in human anatomy for quick generation of concepts for 3D models. An emphasis will be placed on developing efficient pipelines to streamline the entire process from modeling to rendering.
ANI 339 is a prerequiste for this class.
