3D Printing Workshop
3D printers have become an indispensable tool for artists, manufactures, and designers for quick physical realization of everything from character models to product designs. In this workshop students will get a complete introduction to 3D printing. Students will learn the basics of FDM, SLA, and SLS printing including assembly, calibration, slicing, model preparation, and materials. Various techniques in modeling will be covered from organic sculpting in Zbrush to accurately engineered models in Fusion. Personal projects and experimentation are encouraged.
ANI 423 or equivalent 3D modeling experience is a prerequisite for this course.
